Esthetics - 800 HOURS

Facials, Makeup, Complete Body Care and Spa Services.
The curriculum includes: Chemistry of skin care, Physiology & Dermatology, Bacteriology, Sterilization & Sanitation, Machinery, types and purpose, Introduction to skin care,  massage, masks, extractions, Makeup, contouring, color, effects, Eyebrow & Lashes, arches, application,  Hair Removal, tweezing, waxing, depilatories, Safety, machinery, treatments, makeup, Professional & personality development, Management, Salesmanship & Marketing, State Statutes & Rules.

International Certification
The minimum requirement for Esthetics in Indiana is 700 hours. The Honors curriculum is 800 hours because it includes an advanced International ITEC certification that includes microdermabrasion, anti-cellulite treatments, light therapy and micro-current treatments.

Cosmetology Curriculum Requirements

  • Students must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Students must enroll two weeks prior to their start date
  • Orientation is from 10:00 am. to 2:00 pm on your start date
  • Students must attend Saturdays, unless they have proof of a prior work commitment
  • All Freshman must attend Saturdays for the first eight weeks

Esthetics Class Schedule

Days @ 35 Hours per week
  • Takes 23 Weeks or 5.5 Months to Complete
  • Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Days @ 28 Hours per week
  • Takes 29 Weeks or 6.75 Months to Complete
  • Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Early Evening @ 30.5 Hours per week
  • 27 Weeks or 6 Months to Complete
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Part-Time Evening @ 20 Hours per week
  • 40 Weeks or 9.5 Months to Complete
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
